Moser Trebles Through
More drama than a Die Hard boxset here as we witness a three-way all-in, Henrik Tollefsen's UTG push for 20,600 being called by not only Gerhard Moser (who had around the same) in the cut-off, but also Marcus Vretling Pistelli in the big blind.
On their backs, and the hands were as follows:
Tollefsen = Ac-Qh
Moser = 9s-9c
Vretling = Ah-Kd
With Tollefsen standing dejectedly from his seat, Moser was glued to his seat, his breath held as his eyes remained fixated on the oncoming board.
The 4h-7s-3c was a safe one, and Tollefsen's shoulders dropping even further to the floor. A 5h turn and Moser was nearly home and dry, the 4h river sealing victory and giving him a most welcome of treble throughs.
Tollefsen, meanwhile, was left to exit stage left, whilst a defeated Vretling could only look down in disappointment at his now depleted stack of 20,000.
