The Panzer Mowed Down

"She totally owned me," cried George 'The Panzer' Danzer, the German pro braced to report a failed encounter with TV personality Pia Renate Haraldsen. "It was like I was playing my cards face-up."

"She limped for 600," began Danzer, "the small blind made it up and I looked down at A-T in the big blind. I wanted to isolate her, so I made it 1,900. She called, and the small blind folded. On the K-8-2 flop, I continue bet 2,000 and she called. I then checked the jack turn, and she bet 2,000. I had a gutshot, and thought my ace was good, so made the call. The river was a blank, and we both checked, and she took it down with A-J. She'd floated me on the flop!"

As a result of being dominated by Haraldsen (actually, that doesn't sound too bad to me!), Danzer is now down to 26,000. The Norwegian comedian and author, meanwhile, has since moved table, and currently sits on a stack of 15,000.
