Pawel Nowak just had a veritable shower of luck. Raising from the cut-off, the button pushed all-in behind him for a total of 44,800 and Nowak made the call for most of his stack with 8♣ 8♥ only to find himself in trouble against 9♠ 9♣.

The flop though was 8♠ 8♦ 5♠!

This left his opponent needing running Nines or running 7♠ 6♠ to have any chance of a recovery. But no such luck, Nowak is now on 90k as a result.
