I Need a Hero

Just back from the break, Yngve Steen raised it up to 57,000 from UTG and Kristian Tolvhed made the call from the big blind. On the 7h-9c-2s flop, Tolvhed checked, Steen bet 67,000 and Tolvhed flat-called. A 4s turn saw both players check, only for Tolvhed to come out firing on the Qs river for 140,000.

After a minute or two in the think tank, Steen slid 140,000 across the felt, and was met by a most welcome tap of the felt. Caught red-handed, Tolvhed showed Jh-Td for just jack high, whilst Steen showcased a splendid hero call by tabling 8c-7s for third pair.
