Merikallio Takes One Off Jakobsson

Just before the blinds increased, an interesting hand played out between Valtteri Merikallio (pictured) and Mattias Jakobsson. With Merikallio making a standard raise from the button, Jakobsson reraised to 12,000 and Merikallio called.

Both players meekly checked the 3h-Kh-2c flop, before Jakobsson led for 14,000 on the 6d turn.

On the 5s river, Jakobsson checked, but Merikallio was far from hospitable, swiftly announcing all-in with a casual wave of the hands.

After a moment of delibaration, Jakobsson made the fold, albeit with a dismissive shake of the head, and Merikallio took the pot.

Whilst Jakobsson drops to 25,000, Merikallio shoots up to 130,000.
