Petra-fried

Having survived the best part of two days, Petra Anderssen has finally bitten the dust and departs in the final level of the day. With the blinds at 6,000 and 12,000 with a running ante of 1,000, Anderssen made her move with Jc-Th and confidently counted out 73,000 as she placed them across the line.

Nuno Coelho, however, was less meticulous, simply announcing all-in as the action reached him. With the blinds side-stepping out of the way, it was showdown time, Anderssen in dire need of divine intervention against the Portugese's Qd-Qs.

The 3h-3s-9s flop was of little interest, and even though the Ks offered a glimmer of hope, it soon evaporated on the 7d river. A plucky performance from Andersen, but alas, she just missed out on the final day.
