Star-Spotting

Although the field is mainly comprised of online qualifiers, a number of familiar faces from the European circuit have been lured into the luxurious settings of Estoril. Perhaps two of the most notable present are recent EPT winner Joao Barbosa, as well as former EPT finalist Ricardo Sousa, both of whom are keen to support an event taking place in their home nation.

Also spotted lurking at the tables are the likes of Gunnar Osterbrod, Frode Fagerli, Rolf Woods, Jan Hetimann, George Danzer, Andreas Hoivold, Orjan Holt and a welcome appearance from the once forgotten Magnus Petersen, who triumphed in the Scandinavian Open EPT two years ago.
