Gert Jorgensent a Message By Haarala

While Theo Jorgensen might have told us yesterday that his father Gert would be trying to last as long as possible, even if this meant playing no hands at all and sneaking into the money - his playing style in the early part of Level One seems to contradict this, with a gear-change apparently having set in...

Raising preflop 2 out of the first 4 hands played, Jorgensen found a re-raise from Mika Haarala (pictured above) out of the small blind pushing him off it, but took the second one uncontested. Fast forward five minutes, and the same two players have reached the turn - the board A♣ Q♣ 8♠ 7♥.

This time Jorgensen is out of position, and bet a chunky 30k into the pot of around that size. Immediately Haarala announced, "All in," and Jorgensen passed, down to under 100k now.
