"House!"
A big pot just culminated with Lasse Lien leading the way. He raised his opponents' bet on a 2s-9d-5c-5s board to a total of 3,500, and his opponent made the call. On the Ah river, the player called, only for Lien to dip into his stack, his hands slightly shaky, and bet out 5,100.
As Lien remained statuesque, his arm resting in front of him as his eyes peered towards the floor, the recipient fondled his chips before eventually making the call. "House!" announced Lien abruptly as he revealed his hand, his swift declaration about as far away from a slow roll as you can get. "Nines over fives." And, of course, his hand was good, and Lien scooped up the pot.
He was still reconstructing his stack at the time, but it would appear as though Lien now has around twice his starting stack, with approximately 30,000 in chips.
